Overview

VoiceFrom Inc. ("we", "us", "our") provides a web app for live AI interpretation and translation (the "Service"). We collect the minimum information needed to operate the Service, improve reliability, and support you. We are an early-stage company; this policy is written to be clear and practical.

Information We Collect

• Account & Contact Data. Name, email, organization, and any messages you send to us (e.g., support). If you purchase anything, our payment processor collects billing details; we do not store full payment card data on our servers.
• Service Data (Audio & Text). To generate real‑time captions and translations, we process audio streams and the derived text. By default we do not record sessions and we do not retain audio or transcripts beyond what is necessary to provide the live session. If you enable a feature that saves transcripts or recordings, we will store them as instructed by you and make them accessible only to authorized users you designate.
• Usage & Device Data. IP address, device/browser type, approximate region, and basic interaction events used for performance monitoring, abuse prevention, and product analytics (in aggregate where possible).
• Cookies. We use essential cookies for sign-in and preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.

How We Use Information

• Operate and improve the Service and personalize your experience.
• Communicate about service updates, security, and support.
• Protect our users and platform from abuse and fraud.
• R&D. We analyze anonymous or aggregated usage to improve quality and latency. We do not use your session content to train foundation models unless you explicitly opt-in or enter a separate written agreement (e.g., a DPA/SOW).
• Legal compliance. As required by applicable law.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share only as needed with:

• Service Providers. Cloud hosting, analytics, support tools, and speech services acting on our instructions and bound by confidentiality.
• Legal & Safety. When required by law or to protect rights.
• Business transfers. In a merger, acquisition, or sale, subject to this Policy or a policy at least as protective.

Data Security

We use modern security practices such as TLS in transit, restricted access, and encryption of sensitive data at rest where appropriate. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and promptly address incidents.

Data Retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active.
• Service data for live sessions is processed ephemerally and not retained by default; saved transcripts/recordings (if you enable them) are kept until you delete them or your account.
• Logs & analytics are kept for a limited period for security and reliability.
• Billing records may be retained to meet legal and tax obligations.

Your Choices & Rights

• Access/Update. Edit profile details from your account or contact us.
• Deletion. Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
• Communications. Opt-out of non-essential emails via unsubscribe links.
• Cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; essential features may not work.

International Transfers

We may process data in the United States and other countries via our providers. When we transfer data, we do so as permitted by applicable law and with safeguards appropriate to the transfer mechanism in use.

Children

The Service is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 to use the Service. If your local law requires a higher age to use online services (for example, 16 in some EU countries), you must meet that higher age or have verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. If we learn that we collected information from someone below the applicable age without proper consent, we will delete it and may disable the account.

Changes

We may update this policy to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
